Job summary

You will plan daily schedules, monitor equipment, drive continuous improvements, and collaborate with QA and maintenance teams to ensure on-time delivery and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in production engineering or similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling and supply chain management.
• Solid understanding of ISO 9001 and lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and implement solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organisation.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee daily production schedules to ensure optimal resource utilisation and on-time delivery of products.
• Monitor production processes and equipment performance to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Implement process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Develop and maintain production documentation, work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet required specifications and standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
• Manage production data, analyse trends and prepare reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations on the production floor.
• Train and supervise production staff on new processes, equipment and safety protocols.
• Liaise with maintenance teams to schedule preventive maintenance and minimise downtime.
