Job description

This is a mid-level Production Engineering role focused on optimizing the assembly and testing of electronic/RF devices through technical troubleshooting, Lean manufacturing, and the management of new product introductions (NPI).

Your tasks

• Support complete device assembly, integration and functional testing.
• Improve assembly processes, tooling, fixtures and workstation design.
• Troubleshoot assembly and final-test failures.
• Optimize assembly routing, cycle time and manpower utilization.
• Provide daily technical support to Production Leaders, Technicians and Operators.
• Troubleshoot production issues and minimize downtime.
• Lead root-cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone and Pareto analysis.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support production capacity improvement activities.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen projects.
• Improve yield, productivity, cycle time and manufacturing efficiency.
• Reduce workmanship error, scrap and production downtime.
• Identify opportunities for improvement.
• Deliver measurable improvements in quality, cost and productivity.
• Support NPI, product transfer and production ramp-up.
• Participate in pilot builds and manufacturing readiness reviews.
• Define manufacturing requirements for tools, fixtures and test equipment.
• Support process validation and production capability studies.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, Work Instructions and Control Plans.
• Identify process risks and implement preventive controls.
• Drive process capability improvements.
• Support quality investigations, 8D activities & CAPA.
• Ensure compliance with ESD, safety and quality requirements.
• Evaluate and implement ECN changes in production.
• Assess impact on process, tooling, testing and documentation.
• Coordinate engineering changes with Production, Quality, Planning and Supply Chain.
• Ensure changes are implemented effectively and sustainably.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical & Electronic Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience in manufacturing, production engineering, test engineering, process engineering or related fields.
• Strong candidates with experience in electronics manufacturing, RF testing, module testing, calibration or device assembly/testing are highly encouraged to apply.
• Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing is an advantage.
• Experience in RF/electronic equipment manufacturing is an advantage.
• Knowledge of PCBA/module manufacturing and testing.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S and Visual Management.
• Knowledge of ESD and electronics manufacturing requirements.
• Experience with ERP/MES or production monitoring systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, work instructions and process documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
