Job summary

GlobalFoundries inc. in Malaysia seeks an Engineer, Production Control to support expanding Fab Operations.

You will review SPC/FDC charts and analyze data, ensuring adherence to CAS/SOPs while collaborating with engineers and technicians. You will troubleshoot process issues, pass down tool and lot dispositions, and assist with qualification and continuous improvement projects, including new equipment, remotely when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Microelectronics / Chemical Process Engineering / Chemistry / Physics.
• 1-2 years working experience in an electrical / electronics industry.
• Good team player, willing to learn new skills with good initiatives and accountability.
• Good communication skills (interpersonal, oral and written).
• Perform shift duties (12-hours shift, day/night rotation) to support operations.
• Flexible and able to support overtime.

Responsibilities

• Review & analyze SPC/FDC charts by following modules CAS/SOP.
• Review setup data and release tool with proper SOP.
• Troubleshoot process related issues.
• Provide detailed and accurate pass-down of tool/process related inhibits & lot disposition.
• Proper and accurate pass-down of line issues and documentation.
• Assist Engineers & participate in qualification, process improvement projects or new processes/new equipment qualification remotely.
• Coordinate with PE, EAE/EE, Technician, ME & other module to ensure work is carried out according to SOP to meet module objectives.
• Actively participate in CIP projects to improve process robustness, cost and capacity efficiency.
