GlobalFoundries Inc. in Penang, Malaysia, invites applications for an Associate Engineer, Process Engineering. The role focuses on reviewing and analyzing SPC/FDC charts, ensuring SOP-driven tool and process releases, and supporting continuous process improvements.

You will troubleshoot issues, document pass-downs, and collaborate with PE, EAE/EE, Technician, ME and other teams to meet module objectives. The position requires a Diploma in a relevant engineering field and 1–2 years of experience,

Competenze

• Diploma in an engineering field (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Microelectronics/Chemical/Physics).
• 1–2 years working experience in electrical/electronics industry.
• Good communication skills (oral & written) and ability to work in a team.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts (day/night rotation) and overtime as required.

Mansioni

• Review & analyze SPC/FDC charts following CAS/SOP modules.
• Review setup data and release tool with proper SOP.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and provide pass-down of tool/process inhibits & lot disposition.
• Pass down line issues and documentation accurately.
• Assist Engineers and participate in qualification, process improvement projects, or new processes/new equipment qualification remotely.
• Coordinate with PE, EAE/EE, Technician, ME & other modules to meet SOP objectives.
• Participate in CIP projects to improve process robustness, cost and capacity efficiency.
