Job summary

Exentec Services Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Production Assistant to perform multi-stage cleaning of high-purity piping and components in a controlled cleanroom environment. You will prepare chemical agents, inspect surfaces, and maintain cleanroom standards.

The role requires knowledge of chemical safety, ability to work with hazardous materials, and the ability to stand long hours while handling delicate parts. Prior cleanroom or semiconductor industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum SPM/STPM or Diploma in a technical field (Mechanical, Chemical, or Manufacturing).
• Experience: Prior cleanroom experience or handling high-purity piping preferred.
• Skills: Knowledge of chemical safety (SDS) and hazardous material handling; understanding material differences between polymers and stainless steel; familiarity with basic measurement tools and QC checklists.
• Physical: Ability to stand for long periods; lift up to 20 kg; high manual dexterity.

Job description

1. Final Product Cleaning:

Perform multi-stage cleaning of finished plastic (PFA/PVDF) and Stainless Steel high-purity piping, manifolds, and components.

2. Chemical Preparation:

Accurately mix and prepare chemical cleaning agents, etching solutions, or degreasers according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

3. Surface Inspection:

Conduct visual and technical inspections of internal and external surfaces to ensure the removal of all contaminants, particulates, and residues.

4. Cleanroom Housekeeping:

Maintain the integrity of the cleaning station and cleanroom environment through daily sanitization and particle control protocols.

2. RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Chemical Safety & Handling:

• Safely handle hazardous chemicals (acids/solvents) used in the passivation of stainless steel and the leaching of plastic components.
• Strictly adhere to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, including chemical-resistant gloves, face shields, and aprons.

2. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure all HP and ACC products meet the "Zero Contamination" threshold before moving to the packaging stage.
• Perform Conductivity or Resistivity tests on rinse water to verify chemical removal.

3. Equipment Maintenance:

Perform basic maintenance and daily checks on ultrasonic cleaners, dip tanks, and chemical filtration systems.

4. Process Documentation:

Record cleaning cycles, chemical batch numbers, and inspection results in the manufacturing logs to ensure full traceability.

5. Material Handling:

Safely transport delicate, high-value finished products between the fabrication area and the cleanroom without causing surface scratches or structural damage.

III. QUALIFICATIONS

1. Education: Minimum SPM/STPM or Diploma in a technical field (Mechanical, Chemical, or Manufacturing).

2. Experience: Previous experience in a cleanroom environment or handling high-purity piping (semiconductor/electronics industry) is highly preferred.

3. Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of chemical safety (SDS) and hazardous material handling.
• Understanding of material differences between polymers (Plastic) and alloys (Stainless Steel).
• Familiarity with basic measurement tools and quality control checklists.

4. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and handle delicate components with manual dexterity.

5. Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail and a "zero-contamination" mindset.

6. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, manual dexterity for handling small components, and the ability to lift to 20kg.
