Job summary

Mezans in Penang, Malaysia invites a Production Assistant to join its SMT production line. You will perform line tasks, assist with PCB loading/unloading, and prepare materials to keep production flowing.

You will label, pack, inspect visually, handle PCBs with ESD care, record quantities, maintain 5S, and meet daily output targets, with training provided and shifts/overtime required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least SPM or equivalent.
• Experience in SMT/PCBA or electronics manufacturing is preferred but not required.
• Able to follow Work Instructions and supervisor’s instructions.
• Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.
• Responsible, disciplined and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform SMT production-line tasks according to the Work Instruction (WI).
• Assist with PCB loading and unloading, material preparation and component replenishment.
• Carry out basic assembly, labeling, packing and other production activities.
• Perform visual inspections and report defects or abnormalities to the Line Leader or Technician.
• Handle PCBs, electronic components and materials with care in accordance with ESD requirements.
• Record production quantities and complete the required production documents.
• Maintain cleanliness and 5S in the work area.
• Follow production, quality, safety and company procedures.
• Meet daily production output and quality targets.
• Perform other production-related duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
