Job summary

MySub Sdn Bhd in Klang, Selangor, is hiring a Production Assistant to support our manufacturing operations. This full-time role focuses on scheduling, data recording, and coordinating with production management to keep processes efficient and on track.

Qualifications

• Completed secondary education (SPM or equivalent).

• Experience in production, manufacturing or logistics, in an assistant or support role is a plus.

Responsibilities

MySub Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Assistant to join our manufacturing operations team in Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting the production and scheduling functions of our facility. As a Production Assistant, you will work closely with production management to ensure efficient operations, maintain production schedules, and support the smooth running of our manufacturing processes. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering quality products on time and maintaining operational excellence.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the coordination and monitoring of production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders
• Supporting production supervisors and team leaders in overseeing daily manufacturing operations
• Recording and updating production data, including output figures, defects, and downtime incidents
• Assisting with inventory management and stock control of raw materials and finished goods
• Preparing production reports and documentation as required by management
• Supporting quality control checks and ensuring adherence to production standards and procedures
• Assisting with material handling and ensuring the production area remains organised and safe
• Supporting the implementation of production improvements and process optimisation initiatives
• Performing general administrative tasks related to production planning and scheduling

What we're looking for

• Completed secondary education (SPM or equivalent); further qualifications in manufacturing, production management, or business administration are advantageous
• Proven experience in a production, manufacturing, or logistics environment, preferably in an assistant or support role
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Excel and word processing software
• Attention to detail and accuracy when recording and updating production data
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in production operations and related areas
