Job summary

Jie Business Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Senior Trainer to lead and optimize training programs for our consumer electronics teams, strengthening sales capability and workforce effectiveness across the organisation.

You will design development plans for product training, oversee program delivery, measure outcomes with feedback and metrics, and support internal communications to boost employee engagement.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years of related experience as Senior Trainer.
• Knowledge of training methods including coaching, workshops, classroom training and mentoring.
• Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop an overall or individualized training and development plan for all products.
• Oversee the development and implementation of training programs to ensure effectiveness.
• Evaluate training outcomes through feedback, metrics, and performance indicators.
• Stay current on industry trends, best practices and technologies in learning and development.
• Plan and implement sales incentive programs and monitor workforce performance weekly/monthly.
• Collaborate with sales teams to drive growth and profitability by providing resources.
• Oversee internal communications strategies, including content, videos, meetings, and events.
• Maintain internal communication tools and align with company goals.

Job description

Responsibility for product training programs, from developing, facilitating, and supervising a wide variety of training programs and activities to enhance the effectiveness of the workforce and sales capability.

Job Descriptions:

Product Training

Draw an overall or individualized training and development planning for all products.

Oversee the development and implementation of all training programs to ensure the effectiveness and success of training programs.

Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, metrics, and performance indicators, and make adjustments as needed to ensure continuous improvement.

Stay current on industry trends, best practices and technologies in learning and development to enhance the effectiveness and relevance of training programs.

Fieldforce

Plan and implement sales incentive programs and guidelines to enhance workforce performance and productivity.

Monitor and evaluate workforce performance on a weekly and monthly basis.

Work closely with sales team to ensure growth and profitability by providing resources to improve workforce performance.

Internal Communications

Oversee implementation for internal communications strategies, including content, videos, meetings, and other events.

Identify opportunities to promote employee engagement and strengthen the company culture.

Maintain the company's internal communication tools, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with the company's goals.

Job Requirements:

Min. 5 years of related experience as Senior Trainer

Experienced in consumer electronics/mobile phone industry is added advantage

Knowledge of various training methods including coaching, workshops, classroom training and mentoring.

Ability to track the performance of training programs, write reports and recommend strategies for improvement.

Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills.

Well-organized with strong time management skills.

Language: Mandarin, English and Malay (Mandarin is required to deal with Mandarin speaking stakeholders)
