Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Communication or a related field.
• Experience in graphic design, packaging design, product design or a similar role.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and other relevant design software.
• Creative with a good eye for colour, layout, typography and visual presentation.
• Strong understanding of current design and market trends.
• Able to translate briefs into practical designs and work to deadlines.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with different departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative design concepts based on project briefs and business requirements.
• Create artwork and design layouts for packaging, bedlinen, curtains and various product categories.
• Research current market trends, colours, patterns and consumer preferences to develop fresh design ideas.
• Understand design requirements and translate concepts into visually appealing and commercially suitable designs.
• Prepare design layouts, mock-ups and presentations for internal discussion and client approval.
• Work closely with the Product Development, Marketing, Merchandising and other relevant teams to ensure designs meet product requirements.
• Revise and improve designs based on feedback from internal teams and clients.
• Prepare final artwork according to production and printing requirements.
• Check final products to ensure the output matches the approved artwork and meets quality expectations.
• Manage multiple design projects and ensure artwork is completed within the required timeline.
• Maintain proper organisation and filing of design artwork and related materials.
• Provide design support for other projects and tasks as assigned.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning ideas into practical, commercially viable designs and keeping up with the latest market and design trends.

Key Responsibilities

Develop creative design concepts based on project briefs and business requirements.

Create artwork and design layouts for packaging, bedlinen, curtains and various product categories.

Research current market trends, colours, patterns and consumer preferences to develop fresh design ideas.

Understand design requirements and translate concepts into visually appealing and commercially suitable designs.

Prepare design layouts, mock-ups and presentations for internal discussion and client approval.

Work closely with the Product Development, Marketing, Merchandising and other relevant teams to ensure designs meet product requirements.

Requirements

Experience in textile, home furnishing, bedlinen, curtains or consumer products will be an added advantage.
