Job summary

A top multinational manufacturer in the textile/apparel industry seeks a motivated Fashion Designer in Kulai, Malaysia. The role involves managing design processes, identifying trends, and sourcing new fabrics. Ideal candidates will have over a year of experience in fashion design, proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and the ability to thrive under pressure. An attractive remuneration package of up to RM 4.8k along with benefits, including allowances and bonuses, is offered. Enjoy a balanced work-life with five working days.

Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) of experience in Fashion Design.
• Practical experience in the apparel industry is preferred.
• Ability to use CLO and Browzwear software will be a plus.

Job description

• Manage design process from conception through to final styling
• Identify seasonal trends and market demands.
• Source for fabric newness, techniques and relevant inspirations
• Creation of presentation boards materials
• Produce technical sketches via computer software
• Liaise with printers on artwork execution
• Liaise with fabric mills and sample rooms
• Support on 3D cads for all developments and color approvals
