Job summary

United Carpet Sdn Bhd is seeking a designer to support the Contracts Department on design issues across projects. You will maintain records of design information including plans, measurements, colours and samples and manage related correspondences.

The role requires familiarity with ISO documentation processes and may include additional duties as assigned. Applicants should have a Diploma or Degree in Textile design or Graphic design, with at least 1 year of related experience; fresh graduates

• Diploma or Degree in Textile design or Graphic design is required.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in the related field is required.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Contracts Department in design issues for projects.
• Keep records of all design related information (plans, measurements, colours, samples, correspondences).
• Ensure compliance with ISO documentation system.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the company.

Job description

Designers are expected to assist the Contracts Department in design issue in all projects undertaken by the company.

Responsible for keeping records of all design related information - plans, measurement, colours, samples and any design related correspondences for current and past projects.

Make sure compliance of ISO documentation system

Any other works as instructed by the company from time to time.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Textile design or Graphic design

Minimum 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position

Knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Corel Paintshop, Adobe Photoshop, Autocad will be an advantage

Fresh graduates are encourage to apply for this position
