Job summary

Hilti (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Product Owner for the Hilti Shopping App based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will shape the product roadmap, manage the backlog, and craft user stories to drive timely delivery of high-impact features that improve the customer journey.

You will collaborate with UX, analytics, and development teams, leveraging Agile practices to achieve KPIs and align with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information management, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of working experience, including 1+ years in mobile app development.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and communication of the product vision, roadmap, and KPIs, aligned with business priorities and product leadership guidance.
• Manage and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing and refining in line with product objectives.
• Write clear, actionable user stories for development teams.
• Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Collaborate with UX, development, analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact features.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to promote shared understanding and timely delivery.
• Analyze customer behavior, market trends, and internal data to provide insights guiding product decisions.
• Support integration of new features into the e-commerce architecture following technical standards and leadership direction.
• Represent customer perspectives and promote user-centric design in development processes.
• Monitor product performance and recommend enhancements based on analytics.

• Write clear and actionable user stories to guide development teams.
• Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Collaborate with UX, development, analytics, and business stakeholders to support the delivery of high-impact features.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across functions to promote shared understanding and support timely delivery.
• Analyze customer behavior, market trends, and internal data to provide insights and recommendations that support product decision-making.
• Support the integration of new features into the e-commerce architecture in accordance with established technical standards and direction from the relevant product and technology leadership.
• Represent customer perspectives and promote user-centric design and functionality within the product development process.
• Monitor product performance and provide recommendations for enhancements based on feedback and analytics.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information management, Computer Science or a related field.

• At least 3 years of working experience, including 1+ years into mobile app development.
• Strong business and marketing acumen, and familiarity with e-commerce KPIs, conversion funnels, and customer experience metrics.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Google Analytics, and A/B testing platforms.
• Experience with cross-platform frameworks like Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
