Job summary

Secai Marche is seeking a Product Manager to transform manual supply chain workflows into automated, data-driven processes. The role focuses on SKU margins, inventory, and waste visibility to drive contribution margin improvements.

You will define end-to-end automation from forecasting to PO issuance, systematize margin management, and collaborate with Sales and CS to optimize costs and waste. Strong SQL skills and field observations in warehousing are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Product Manager or equivalent in supply chain, procurement, or inventory management
• Experience turning manual processes into automated workflows
• End-to-end product ownership: problem definition, requirements, release, and measurement
• Ability to translate numbers (margin, inventory, waste) into actionable insights
• Experience observing and designing from the work happening in warehouse/procurement/operations
• Basic SQL to verify numbers via joins and aggregations
• Comfortable discussing trade-offs with engineers and prioritizing build decisions
• Able to reason about a platform made of multiple cooperating services and interdependent changes

Job description

This role focuses on opening up the black box across supply chain operations as a whole, automating it, and making SKU-level margin, inventory, and waste visible and optimized through data. You will support contribution margin improvement from the cost, margin, and waste side. Much of the current supply chain work depends on manual effort—for example, purchasing from suppliers and farmers is done by issuing purchase orders (POs) one by one from the product management page of the in-house system while referencing demand forecasts. This takes a lot of time, but exactly what is consuming that time is itself a black box.

Key responsibilities

Make the current purchasing process visible and break it down to identify where time is being lost (bottlenecks)

Define how the flow from demand forecasting through PO issuance should be automated, and validate it once built

Systematize daily SKU-level margin management (cost and selling price)

Drive measures to reduce waste, along with the data capture, visualization, and EC enhancements that support them

Decide how producer and SKU data is held, and specify the data, reviews, and dashboards needed for demand forecasting

Collaborate with the Sales and CS teams to support contribution margin improvement from the cost, margin, and waste side

Set success metrics before release, measure after release, and run the improvement cycle

Commit to the department KPI: you are accountable for the business result, not only for shipping the feature

About you

3 or more years as a Product Manager, or an equivalent role owning what gets built, in at least one of: supply chain, procurement / purchasing, inventory management, product management, or demand forecasting

Experience breaking down a messy manual business process and specifying how to automate it

Experience owning a feature end to end: problem definition, requirements, release, and measurement

Experience writing requirements an engineer can build from, and validating what comes back

Experience handling numbers such as margin, inventory, and waste through data, and making them visible and improving them

Experience going to where the work happens (warehouse, procurement, operations) and designing from what you observe

Able to read and write basic SQL to check numbers yourself: joins and aggregations are enough

Comfortable discussing trade-offs with engineers: what is cheap to build, what is expensive, and why

Able to reason about a platform made of several cooperating services, and about where a change lands and what it affects

Comfortable working in a team where most code is written with AI coding tools (Claude Code)
