Job summary

Plexus Corp. is seeking a Manager- Product Engineer in Penang to bridge manufacturing with customers, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements and that products meet specifications.

You will lead requirements capture, BOM structuring, and the Product Control Plan while driving DFx discussions, CAPA actions, and technical issue resolution with SME support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years related experience required; 5+ years equivalent industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead capture of customer requirements, BOM structure, and Product Control Plan; define product ABI's and tooling strategy; ensure manufacturing readiness via APQP.
• Serve as technical expert for customer inquiries; lead design for manufacturability discussions; assist customer with problem resolution with SME support as needed.
• Drive product-level improvement to enhance efficiency; identify root causes of failures and develop CAPA actions.
• Provide routine technical support to manufacturing; answer technical questions; lead real-time analysis and resolution of customer/product issues; decide rework vs scrap.
• Champion Plexus Core Values; develop potential, plan succession, and coach employees to reach their full potential.
