Job summary

Medi Beaute Sdn Bhd is seeking a Product Manager with a strong biology or life sciences background to lead aesthetic, skincare, and medical aesthetic products. You will bridge scientific knowledge with commercial strategies, ensuring product excellence and regulatory compliance.

Role requires coordination with R&D, regulatory affairs, and marketing to deliver innovative products and accurate technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or life sciences.
• 2–5 years in product management or scientific affairs.
• Understanding of skin physiology, cosmetics ingredients, aesthetic medicine.
• Ability to interpret journals and clinical studies.
• Strong analytical and research capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, and lifecycle management of aesthetic and skincare products.
• Conduct scientific research on ingredients, formulations, and emerging aesthetic technologies.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturers, and suppliers to develop innovative products.
• Develop annual product roadmaps aligned with company objectives.
• Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
• Review scientific literature to support product claims and prepare technical documents.
• Work closely with Regulatory Affairs to ensure compliance with NPRA, MOH, and relevant authorities.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop educational and promotional materials.
• Liaise with OEM manufacturers and suppliers locally and internationally.
• Conduct competitor benchmarking and monitor industry trends in aesthetics, dermatology, anti-aging, and regenerative medicine.

Medi Beaute Sdn Bhd is seeking a Product Manager with a strong Biology, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences background to lead the development and management of aesthetic, skincare, and medical aesthetic products. The successful candidate will bridge scientific knowledge with commercial strategies, ensuring product excellence, regulatory compliance, and successful market positioning.

Key responsibilities

Lead the planning, development, and lifecycle management of aesthetic and skincare products

Conduct scientific research on ingredients, formulations, and emerging aesthetic technologies

Collaborate with R&D, manufacturers, and suppliers to develop innovative products

Develop annual product roadmaps aligned with company objectives

Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or Medical Science

2-5 years of experience in product management, product development, or scientific affairs

Strong understanding of Human Biology, Skin Physiology, Cosmetic Ingredients, Aesthetic Medicine, Medical Devices, and Clinical Research

Excellent analytical and research skills

Strong project management abilities

Good presentation and communication skills

Ability to interpret scientific journals and clinical studies

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and scientifically curious

Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
