Job summary

Lumentum seeks a Senior Program Manager for CM Product Launch to lead new product introductions at external contract manufacturing partners from early planning through qualification, ramp, and handoff to sustaining operations.

You will be the key interface between Lumentum R&D and CM, translating product requirements into manufacturing plans and ensuring CM readiness for engineering builds, qualification, and volume production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, operations, supply chain, business, or related field.
• 8+ years in program management, manufacturing, or new product introduction.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional product launches with external partners.
• Experience working with contract manufacturers or external manufacturing partners.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional product launch programs at contract manufacturing sites.
• Serve as primary interface between R&D, internal Operations and CM.
• Develop and maintain integrated program schedules, milestones, risks, actions and dependencies.
• Ensure CM readiness across equipment, tooling, test capability, materials, documentation, systems, staffing, training, quality and capacity.
• Coordinate prototype, engineering, qualification, and production ramp builds.
• Drive timely resolution of technical and supply-chain issues affecting launch readiness.
• Lead program reviews, readiness reviews, risk reviews, and executive status updates.
