Job summary

Lumentum Penang seeks a Principal Manufacturing Engineer to lead lifecycle manufacturing engineering from NPI to high-volume CM production. You will drive process development, technology transfer, and continuous improvement, ensuring product performance, quality, cost targets, and manufacturability.

Qualifications

Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and transferring products into high-volume manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of SPC, Cp/Cpk, DOE, and data analysis.
Ability to lead跨-functional teams and drive manufacturing improvements.

Responsibilities

Transfer new products from R&D to contract manufacturing and ramp up production.
Develop/modify process formulations; define equipment requirements and specs.
Review processing techniques for manufacturing, fabrication, and product evaluation.
Plan projects involving new concepts, equipment automation, and process improvements.
Provide technical support for products moved to manufacturing and validate changes.
