Job summary

Lam Research seeks a Program Manager within Global Planning & Operations to lead cross-functional initiatives, drive performance improvements, and standardize processes across regions. You will partner with Planning, Order Execution, Pilot, Engineering Services, and Supply Chain to identify gaps and deliver measurable outcomes.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, structured problem-solving, and executive-level reporting to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years’ experience; or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of related experience in project management or program management
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
• Analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision support.
• Proven ability to manage global projects and collaborate across multiple functions.
• Semiconductor industry or global organizational experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate organizational performance against strategic objectives, identify gaps, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation that improve GP&O effectiveness and business results.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on process simplification, standardization, waste reduction, and scalability across global operations.
• Establish and maintain standardized business processes, performance metrics, and operating mechanisms to ensure consistent execution across regions and functions.
• Leverage operational data, analytics tools, and business insights to identify root causes, measure performance, and support fact-based decision making.
• Partner with stakeholders across GP&O and related organizations to align priorities, resolve issues, and drive organizational objectives.
• Identify operational risks, elevate critical issues, and lead structured problem-solving activities to achieve timely resolution.
• Develop concise executive-level reporting, business reviews, presentations, and recommendations that enable informed leadership decisions.
• Influence adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working that improve organizational performance and operational discipline.
