Job summary

Experian Asia Pacific in Malaysia is seeking a software engineer to contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing and deployment of applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive quality and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in software design/implementation, strong .NET/C#, AWS familiarity, and experience with Angular/HTML/CSS/JS and PHP/Java/Python/MySQL on the backend.

Qualifications

• Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 4 years' experience in systems design and the implementation of software.
• Strong proficiency in .NET (C#) and ASP.NET Core for REST API development.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud; front-end techs like Angular, HTML, CSS, JS; back-end PHP/Java/Python/MySQL.
• Knowledge of JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins and Static Code Security is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Involved in R&D, design, implementation, integration testing and deployment of software.
• Coordinate a specific application module development activity.
• Conduct technical analysis and design of application module & database.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to developers.
• Ensure modules meet architecture standards with code reviews, unit testing and integration testing.

What you'll need to bring to the team

What You’ll Be Doing

• You will be Involved in R&D, design, implementation, integration testing and deployment of software application
• You will need to conducting, leads and coordination a specific application module development activity
• You will be conducting technical analysis and design of application module & database
• You will be required to provide technical expertise and guidance to developers
• You will need to ensure module developed meets the architecture and standard set forth, including conducting code reviews, unit testing and integration testing

Qualifications

• Must possess a Degree / Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent. Seniority will be commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications
• At least 4 years' experience in systems design and the implementation of software.
• Strong proficiency in modern technologies, including .NET (C#) and ASP.NET Core for REST API development.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud is also required
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience with back-end technologies including PHP, Java, Python, and MySQL is preferred.
• Knowledge in JIRA / Bitbucket / Jenkins / Static Code Security are an advantage.
