Job Description

We are looking for a skilled, passionate, and highly motivated IT Product Engineer to be involved in the full Systems Development Life Cycle and provide support to system users. We require individuals who are strong believers in continuous improvement and are constantly driven to bring about positive change to processes.

Responsibilities

• Participate in SDLC and provide support to internal system users.
• Support complex technical issues as a respected team member.
• Collaborate with the team and execute strategy to mature support.
• Drive system improvement and operational efficiencies.
• Involve in R&D, design, implementation, integration, testing and deployment of software application.
• Lead specific application module development activity.
• Conduct technical analysis and design of application module & database.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to developers.
• Ensure modules meet architecture and standards, including code reviews, unit testing and integration testing.
• Engage in continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree or advanced diploma in Computer Science or equivalent. Seniority commensurate with experience.
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in systems design and software implementation.
• Familiarity with AWS services.
• Experience with CodeIgniter and MVC architecture.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs with XML/JSON.
• Good understanding of Agile, SCRUM, SDLC and software design concepts.
• Familiarity with AI tools for coding, documentation or automation is a plus.
• Familiar with GIT versioning control, branching strategies, and code reviews.
• Knowledge of JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, static code security an advantage.
• Understanding of security principles & best practices (e.g., OWASP Top Ten).
• Experience writing unit tests and integration tests (xUnit or similar).
• Strong skills in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently with guidance.
• Ability to deliver under pressure and tight deadlines.
