Job summary

Experian Information Services Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled IT Product Engineer to be involved in the full Systems Development Life Cycle and to provide support to internal system users. You will drive system improvements, collaborate with the team, and ensure robust design, testing, deployment, and operational efficiency across software modules.

Must hold a Degree / Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent, with at least 4 years' experience in systems design and software

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 4+ years in systems design and software implementation
• Hands-on expertise in .NET (C#) and ASP.NET Core for REST APIs
• Experience with AWS cloud
• Familiarity with JWT, REST/JSON/XML APIs
• Strong knowledge of Agile, SDLC and software design concepts
• GIT version control knowledge
• Familiarity with Jira/Bitbucket/Jenkins is a plus
• Understanding OWASP security principles for web/mobile apps

What you’ll be doing

Involve in R&D, design, implementation, integration, testing and deployment of software application

Conducts, leads and coordination a specific application module development activity

Conducts technical analysis and design of application module & database

Provides technical expertise and guidance to developers

Ensure module developed meets the architecture and standard set forth, including conducting code reviews, unit testing and integration testing

More about you

Must possess a Degree / Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent. Seniority will be commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications.

At least 4 years’ experience in systems design and the implementation of software.

Strong hands-on expertise in .NET (C#) and ASP.NET Core for developing REST APIs.

Familiarity with AWS cloud is also required.

Experience with CodeIgniter, Bootstrap, and MVC architecture

Experience in implementing secure authentication flows using JWT tokens is an advantage.

Experience on developing Restful API with XML / JSON.

Good understanding of Agile, SCRUM, SDLC and software design concepts

Familiar with GIT Versioning Control and source safe environment.

Knowledge in JIRA / Bitbucket / Jenkins / Static Code Security are an advantage.

Understanding security principles & best practices (e.g., OWASP Top Ten) in web and mobile application development.

Strong skills in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.

Ability to deliver under pressure and tight deadlines.
