Job summary

Experian Asia Pacific is hiring a Junior Software Engineer in Malaysia (Cyberjaya). You will develop and maintain responsive UIs using React.js and modern JavaScript, collaborating closely with UX designers. You will work with Git, Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence, reporting to the Software Engineering Manager.

The role is hybrid, with 2–3 days in the office and some remote days. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of software development experience and familiarity with React, Angular, Java,

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of software development experience.
• Experience with React, Angular, Java, JavaScript, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and APIs.
• Familiar with Git and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• This is a hybrid position, requiring attendance in the office 2-3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely on other days.

What We’re Looking for

• 0–2 years of software development experience (or equivalent experience through internships, academic projects, or bootcamps)
• Design, develop, test, and deploy software using technologies such as React, Angular, Java, JavaScript, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, PostgreSQL and related tools.
• Understanding of software engineering principles and object-oriented programming
• Exposure to databases, APIs, and application development concepts
• Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices

• Work Arrangement: Hybrid. You will combine in-office and remote work, with regular attendance required at the office.
