Job summary

Experian Asia Pacific is looking for a software engineer to contribute across the full SDLC from design to deployment. You will collaborate on multi‑stack modules, provide technical guidance, and help drive system improvements and efficiencies.

The role requires strong experience with .NET, REST APIs, AWS, and front/back‑end technologies. A hybrid work arrangement is offered with opportunities to influence products and processes.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Degree / Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Senior experience commensurate with qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Involved in R&D, design, implementation, integration, testing and deployment of software application
• Lead and coordinate a specific application module development activity
• Conduct technical analysis and design of application module & database
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to developers
• Ensure module developed meets architecture and standards, including code reviews and testing

What you'll need to bring to the team

• Successful candidates will play a major part in SDLC and provide support to internal system users.
• Be a highly respected member of the team capable of supporting complex technical issues.
• Be a key driver in our team by actively collaborating with the team, supporting the development of, and executing the strategy to mature support.
• A focus will also be placed on driving system improvement and operational efficiencies.

What You'll Be Doing

• You will be Involved in R&D, design, implementation, integration, testing and deployment of software application
• You will need to conducting, leads and coordination a specific application module development activity
• You will be conducting technical analysis and design of application module & database
• You will be required to provide technical expertise and guidance to developers
• You will need to ensure module developed meets the architecture and standard set forth, including conducting code reviews, unit testing and integration testing

Qualifications

• Must possess a Degree / Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent. Seniority will be commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications
• - At least 4 years' experience in systems design and the implementation of software.
• - Strong proficiency in modern technologies, including .NET (C#) and ASP.NET Core for REST API development.
• - Familiarity with AWS cloud is also required
• - Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience with back-end technologies including PHP, Java, Python, and MySQL is preferred.
• Knowledge in JIRA / Bitbucket / Jenkins / Static Code Security are an advantage.
