Job summary

Keysight is seeking a Product Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to join our team. You will integrate refurbished products into Keysight Remarketing Services (KRS), contribute to New Product Introduction (NPI) launches, and set up refurbishment, test, repair, and final configuration processes with a mindset for continuous improvement.

Collaborating with product support, quality, procurement and planning teams, you will develop and maintain operating instructions, train technicians, and explore automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with structured root-cause analysis.
• Good communication and training abilities for technicians and inspectors.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-changing manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of programming and AI-based tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunities to work with different teams such as production, procurement, planning, quality, technical, calibration services, suppliers and contract manufacturers to sustain and improve products and processes.

Responsibilities

As a Product Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Integrating products with different product structures as refurbished products into Keysight Remarketing Services (KRS).
2. Work on New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensure timely launch of NPI.
3. Set up refurbishment, option reconfiguration, test, repair and final configuration processes as well as capabilities at KRS. Continuously look into process improvement opportunities.
4. Set up and maintain Test Station.
5. Develop and maintain Operating Instructions (OI) or procedures for technicians and Outgoing/Production Quality Assurance (OQA/PQA) inspectors.
6. Provide product related training to technicians, OQA/PQA and Order Management (OM)/Planning.
7. Work with internal partners (Product Support Engineering, New Products Division, Quality, Procurement) on any product and quality related issues to come up with resolutions/preventive measures if needed.
8. Look into process efficiency improvements and automation opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Basic understanding of electronics as well as test and measurement.
• Demonstrated proficiency in relevant tools, systems, and standard operating procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience performing structured root‑cause analysis.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and support training for technicians and inspectors.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a high‑mix, low-volume, fast‑changing engineering and manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of programming and familiarity with AI‑based tools or technologies is a plus.
