Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a design and manufacturing-focused engineer to design and develop products in line with project requirements and industry standards. You will prepare technical drawings, ensure cost-effective, manufacturable designs, and support continuous improvement across production and projects.

• Contribute to process improvements by standardizing methods and optimizing workflows to reduce costs.
• Provide technical support to sales and customers by reviewing requirements and preparing proposals.
• Attend technical discussions with clients.
• Coordinate with production, project, sales, and procurement to ensure successful project execution and satisfaction.

• To design and develop products in accordance with project requirements and industry standards, including the preparation of technical drawings and specifications.
• To ensure that all product designs are practical, cost-effective, and suitable for manufacturing, while also supporting product improvement initiatives to enhance performance, quality, and reliability.
• Responsible for supporting production activities by working closely with the manufacturing team to ensure smooth operations, resolving technical issues on the shop floor, and ensuring that production output meets quality and delivery requirements.
• To contribute to process improvement activities by developing and standardizing manufacturing methods, optimizing workflows, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
• Provide technical support to the sales team and customers by reviewing project requirements, preparing technical proposals and quotations, and recommending suitable engineering solutions based on customer needs.
• To attend technical discussions or meetings with clients.
• To coordinate effectively with internal departments including production, project, sales, and procurement teams to ensure successful execution of projects and customer satisfaction.
