Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for biomedical and medical device products.
• Evaluate new products for technical feasibility and market fit.
• Install, commission, test, and validate products when required.
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Train customers, distributors, and staff on operation and safety.
• Collaborate with Sales to support tender submissions.
• Prepare technical docs, specifications, user guides, and training materials.
• Collaborate with manufacturers for technical resolutions and updates.
• Support regulatory documentation and product registrations.
• Develop SOPs and work instructions; monitor product performance.

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Engineer to join our team in the medical equipment supply industry. This role involves overseeing product development, customization, quality assurance, and technical support to ensure our medical devices meet industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for biomedical and medical device products.
• Evaluate new products and technologies for technical feasibility and market suitability.
• Conduct product installation, commissioning, testing, and validation where required.
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers and internal teams.
• Train customers, distributors, and internal staff on product operation, maintenance, and safety.
• Work closely with the Sales team to provide technical support during customer engagements and tender submissions.
• Prepare technical documentation, product specifications, user guides, and training materials.
• Investigate product issues and coordinate with manufacturers for technical resolutions.
• Support product registration activities by providing technical documentation required by regulatory authorities.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers on product updates, modifications, and technical improvements.
• Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Monitor product performance and collect customer feedback for continuous product improvement.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Participate in exhibitions, workshops, product launches, and customer training events.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Product Manager or Engineering Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, or related field.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
