Job summary

SKINTIFIC is seeking a Product Development Manager to lead product ideation, portfolio development, and cross‑functional collaboration with marketing to maintain industry leadership in skincare and makeup.

The role requires 5+ years in beauty product development, strong leadership, and fluency in English and Mandarin to engage with Mandarin‑speaking clients and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Beauty Product Development.
• Proven record of creating a good product idea and launch.
• Broad knowledge of skincare and makeup ingredients.
• Keeps up with beauty market trends locally and internationally.
• Strong leadership with experience guiding product managers and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to synthesize data from various feedback sources.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Identify gaps in current product assortment using industry insights.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop product portfolios, USPs, and POSM briefs.
• Drive ideation for new products and lines to keep SKINTIFIC market‑leading.
• Analyze market and competitor landscape and provide strategic insights.
• Oversee Product Development Executives to ensure successful execution.

Job description

Utilize in-depth knowledge of beauty industry trends and a keen understanding of the competitive landscape to identify gaps in our current product assortment.

Collaborate closely with our Marketing team to develop product portfolios, unique selling propositions (USP), and briefs for point-of-sale materials (POSM).

Drive creative and constructive ideation for new products and product lines, ensuring SKINTIFIC remains at the forefront of industry innovation.

Analyze the market and competitor landscape while offering strategic insights to help our brand maintain a competitive edge.

Provide leadership and guidance by overseeing the work of Product Development Executives to ensure the successful execution of product development initiatives.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Beauty Product Development.

Have knowledge or records proven of creating a good product idea and launch.

Have a broad and extensive knowledge of skincare and makeup ingredients and/or is a beauty enthusiast.

Keep up with beauty market trends, both local and international, regarding products, ingredients, and consumer needs.

Excellent leadership skills with experience leading product managers and cross‑functional teams.

Capable to conduct research on current market trends.

Capable of synthesizing data from various feedback sources in order to inform decisions in prioritizing and designing product features.

Fluent in English and Mandarin, both oral and written. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
