Job summary

ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business seeks an experienced engineer to drive platform capability roadmaps and standardize processes for products within platforms, while supporting pre-series and ramp-up of new technologies.

You will contribute to platform-level process development and product design for semiconductor/LED laser products, leveraging 5–10 years of relevant experience in engineering and R&D project management to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in engineering or relevant field.
• 5–10 years in semiconductor process engineering.
• 5–10 years in R&D project management.
• Product design and process engineering knowledge in semiconductors or LED, especially laser product.
• Knowledge in process development steps and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Work with PTO for platform capability matrix and develop capability Roadmaps.
• Be the driver for standardization of Processes for Products within Platform.
• Support new product pre-series and ramp-up.
• Lead/co-ordinate the introduction of new Technologies to Platforms (typically technologies introduced along with new Products or based on Industry developments).
• Define overall line and optimized process flows.
• Design product fulfilling product requirement profile.
