Job summary

RUGCON SYSTEM SDN. BHD. in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a driven electronics assembler to join our production team.

You will assemble industrial computers and related products according to SOPs and work instructions, perform basic testing, and ensure proper documentation. Candidates with a technical qualification and willingness to learn are welcome. Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred in electronics or related fields.
• Experience in assembling or testing electronic products is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and basic computer skills for data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial computers and related products according to SOPs and work instructions.
• Perform basic functional testing, burn-in testing and maintain test records.
• Assist with visual inspection, packaging and pre‑shipment checks.
• Record product issues and report to engineering or quality teams.
• Use and maintain production tools and testing equipment, keeping the area clean and organized.
• Perform other production, testing and operational duties as assigned by management.

Job description

Key responsibilities

Assemble industrial computers and related products according to standard operating procedures and work instructions.

Perform basic functional testing, burn-in testing and maintain test records.

Assist with visual inspection, product packaging and pre-shipment checks.

Record product issues and report them to the engineering or quality team.

Use and maintain production tools, testing equipment and materials properly, while keeping the work area clean and organised.

Perform other production, testing and operational duties assigned by management.

About you

Certificate, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation or a related field is preferred.

Experience in assembling or testing electronic products, computer hardware or industrial equipment is an advantage.

Candidates with basic technical knowledge and a willingness to learn are welcome.

Basic computer skills for data entry and test record preparation.

Experience using ChatGPT, Gemini or other digital tools is an advantage.

Able to communicate in English or Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsible, detail-oriented and able to follow standard operating procedures.

Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with the team.

Five-day work week.
