Job summary

Air Liquide is seeking a seasoned procurement operations leader to supervise APAC support, coach a diverse team, and ensure compliant, efficient P2P processes. You will govern policy, optimize PO lifecycles, and drive continuous improvement across the shared services landscape.

The role requires strong cross-cultural leadership, expertise in Coupa/ERP systems, and fluency in English and Japanese, with a commitment to talent development and process automation in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• 3–5 years in a Global Business Services (GBS), Shared Services or Procurement Operations environment with supervisory experience.
• Hands-on experience with e-Procurement and ERP systems (Coupa, Oracle/D365, Graphite Connect, ServiceNow).
• Ability to lead multi-cultural, cross-regional teams and develop talent.
• Agility in fast-paced environments and quick adoption of digital enterprise tools.
• Fluent in English and Japanese.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily procurement support operations across APAC regions.

• Manage intercompany and non-critical PRs; oversee PO lifecycles and test catalogs.

• Conduct monthly "Back-to-Basic" user training and COI communications.

Job description

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

• Team Leadership & Regional Management: Supervise daily procurement support operations, coach team members, foster autonomy, optimize workloads, and lead seamless service transitions across APAC regions.
• Governance & Compliance Surveillance: Enforce procurement policies (e.g., Split PR monitoring, catalog compliance), track PO acknowledgments, manage aging POs, and maintain continuous audit readiness.
• P2P Transactional & System Support: Manage intercompany and non-critical PRs, administer PO lifecycles (soft/hard close, re-open), test punch-out catalogs, and resolve escalated P2P workflow issues.
• Process Automation & Continuous Improvement: Partner with cross-functional teams to drive P2P process standardization, advocate for new digital tool adoption, and guide specialists in continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.
• P2P Helpdesk Management: Manage daily user and supplier queries via the myProc/POS ticketing system, providing prompt troubleshooting and guidance on Coupa workflows.
• Stakeholder Training & Communication: Conduct monthly "Back-to-Basic" user training, distribute procurement newsletters, publish ticketing guidelines, and manage annual Conflict of Interest (COI) communications.

Are you a MATCH?

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a Global Business Services (GBS), Shared Services, or Procurement Operations environment, including a proven track record in a supervisory/team lead role.
• System Proficiency: Hands-on experience with e-Procurement and ERP systems (specifically Coupa, Oracle / D365, Graphite Connect, or ServiceNow).
• Leadership & People Management: Demonstrated success in leading and coaching multi-cultural, cross-regional teams with a focus on talent development, workload balance, and team well-being.
• Process & Digital Agility: Proven ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments, adopt new digital enterprise tools, and drive continuous improvement.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English and Japanese
