Job summary

Chicago Chicken City SDN BHD is seeking a capable procurement professional to lead sourcing of ingredients, equipment, packaging and related F&B materials from China and Malaysia. The role drives cost efficiency and ensures timely deliveries.

You will negotiate with suppliers, manage end-to-end procurement workflows, and build strong cross-functional relationships across teams. This is a dynamic, growth-focused role with clear career progression in a fast-growing F&B franchise ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Procurement of ingredients, equipment, packaging and other F&B materials from China and Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sourcing and purchasing of ingredients, equipment, packaging, and F&B materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for quality and cost.
• Manage end-to-end procurement workflow including quotations, orders, logistics tracking and documentation.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, logistics partners and internal teams.
• Monitor prices and identify cost-saving opportunities (negotiation, substitutes, exemptions).
• Review, develop and execute procurement procedures to align with guidelines.
• Prepare purchasing reports and maintain accurate inventory and cost records.

Oversee sourcing and purchasing of ingredients, equipment, packaging, and other F&B-related materials from China and Malaysia

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery

Manage end-to-end procurement workflow, including quotation comparison, order placement, logistics tracking, and documentation

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams

Monitor product prices and identify opportunity for cost saving (through price negotiation, substitute product, tax exemptions, etc.)

Review, develop and execute procurement procedures; ensure practices are complied with guidelines and procedures

Prepare purchasing reports and maintain accurate inventory and cost records

About you

Full working rights in Malaysia

Proficient in Chinese, English, and Melayu (both written and spoken)

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in F&B, retail, or supply chain

Strong negotiation, supplier management, and communication skills

Familiar with cross-border procurement (China Malaysia) is a strong advantage

Able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and handle urgency

Strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving mindset
