Job summary

Chicago Chicken City SDN BHD is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing and purchasing of ingredients, equipment, packaging, and other F&B materials from China and Malaysia. You will negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery, and manage the end-to-end procurement workflow from quotation comparison to logistics tracking.

Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams, monitor prices for savings, and develop compliant procurement

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of procurement experience, ideally in F&B, retail, or supply chain.
• Proficient in Chinese, English, and Melayu; strong negotiation and supplier management.
• Familiar with cross-border procurement between China and Malaysia is a plus.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sourcing and purchasing of ingredients, equipment, packaging, and other F&B materials from China and Malaysia.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
• Manage end-to-end procurement workflow, including quotation comparison, order placement, logistics tracking, and documentation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams.
• Monitor product prices and identify opportunities for cost savings (through price negotiation, substitute products, tax exemptions, etc.).
• Review, develop and execute procurement procedures; ensure practices are compliant with guidelines and procedures.
• Prepare purchasing reports and maintain accurate inventory and cost records.
