Job summary

DayOne in Johor Bahru invites a proactive Procurement Manager to lead operational procurement for SEA data center projects, from pre-startup support to supplier negotiations and contract execution.

You will draft contracts, manage tenders, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely fulfilment, payment planning, and accurate cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement tasks including pre-startup/pre-sales support and A&A procurement for SEA data center projects.
• Draft and standardize procurement contracts, ensuring approvals and reporting outcomes.
• Organize non-construction procurement tenders and related activities.
• Establish payment plans, manage contract statistics, and cost accounting.
• Monitor contract execution and delivery schedules with departments for timely fulfilment.
• Maintain supplier databases and manage relationships to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Adapt to evolving procurement needs and perform other tasks as assigned.

Procurement Manager

• Manage operational procurement tasks, including pre-startup/pre-sales support, customer customization, and A&A procurement for SEA data center projects, as well as maintenance team resources, equipment, consumables, and materials.
• Draft and standardize procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with approval processes, and report procurement outcomes to management.
• Organize and conduct non-construction procurement tenders and related activities.
• Establish payment plans, manage contract statistics, and handle project cost accounting, ensuring proper contract payments and accurate statistical reporting to management.
• Monitor contract execution and delivery schedules, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure timely fulfilment.
• Maintain supplier/vendor databases and manage relationships, collaborating with internal departments to ensure seamless project delivery and resolve procurement related issues.
• Adapt to evolving procurement needs and perform other tasks as assigned.
