Job summary

DayOne is a global leader in data center development and operations, with a growing footprint in Asia. We are seeking an experienced OPEX procurement leader to oversee Malaysia's FM, maintenance, facilities, utilities, and other operational services across multi-site operations.

You will develop and execute procurement strategies, manage tendering and contract negotiations, and lead vendor performance, cost optimization, and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of procurement experience with strong OPEX/FM/maintenance procurement exposure.
• Proven experience in tender management, contract negotiation, vendor management, and cost optimization.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team and work independently in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage OPEX procurement activities across Malaysia, covering FM, maintenance, facilities, utilities, and other operational services.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies, sourcing plans, tendering, and contract negotiations to achieve cost savings and value improvement.
• Manage key vendors and contracts, including performance, pricing, SLA/KPI, and commercial terms.
• Partner closely with Operations, ADM, Finance, Legal, and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant procurement execution.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, DOA, governance, and audit requirements.
• Drive cost optimization, supplier consolidation, process improvement, and procurement efficiency.
• Lead, coach, and develop the OPEX procurement team across Malaysia.
• Provide procurement insights, market intelligence, and management reporting to senior leadership.
