Job summary

PerkinElmer Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. seeks a proactive intern to support daily purchasing activities, supplier coordination, and delivery tracking in our procurement team. You will convert PRs to POs in SAP, monitor orders, and maintain delivery schedules while collaborating with internal stakeholders.

This 6-month internship offers exposure to SAP, MS Office, and real procurement operations in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Able to commit 6 months duration of internship.
• Experience working in SAP or a similar ERP system is an advantage.
• Excellent skills in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations and delivery ETAs.
• Update delivery schedules and purchase order information in SAP.
• Convert approved purchase requisitions (PRs) into purchase orders (POs).
• Monitor outstanding orders and follow up on delayed deliveries.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders on purchasing matters.
• Provide purchasing transaction support and back-up coverage when required.
