AYS Ventures Berhad is offering a Purchasing Intern position in Malaysia. You will assist with daily purchasing activities, prepare POs, source supplier quotations, and communicate with suppliers. The role emphasizes organized records, timely deliveries, and learning through hands-on projects within a supportive team.

Fresh graduates are welcome; 5-day week with opportunities to grow practical skills in procurement and supplier coordination.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Organized, proactive and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently while being a team player.
• No prior purchasing experience? No worries! We're looking for someone with the right attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Get Things Moving: Assist with daily purchasing activities and prepare Purchase Orders (PO).
• Compare, Analyse & Decide: Source supplier quotations and compare prices to support purchasing decisions.
• Connect with Suppliers: Communicate with suppliers on pricing, order status and delivery arrangements.
• Keep Things on Track: Follow up on outstanding orders and ensure timely deliveries.
• Stay Organised: Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
• Learn as You Go: Support the team in other purchasing-related tasks and projects while gaining real-world experience.
