bp in Malaysia seeks an Intelligence & Optimisation Lead to enable high‑quality category decision‑making and improve procurement effectiveness through actionable insights, analytics and recommendations. You will uncover trends, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and support BP's global procurement initiatives with data‑driven insights aligned to business needs.

• Undergraduate degree in procurement or business or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in indirect procurement or commercial analytics.
• Experience working cross-culturally and in international environments; ability to influence across levels.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct detailed analysis of demand, spend and market patterns to identify trends and opportunities for the category team.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for continuous improvement including supplier performance and risk reduction.
• Collaborate with category managers to translate insights into initiatives and monitor their impact for continuous improvement.
• Provide regular reports on market conditions and their potential impact on procurement activities.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to integrate insights into procurement strategies.
• Establish oneself as the category expert on procurement analytics and implement innovative approaches to analytics.
