Job summary

BP is seeking an Intelligence & Optimisation Lead in Malaysia to enable high-quality category decision-making through analytics and actionable insights. You will uncover trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support global procurement initiatives with data-driven recommendations that align with regulatory and market conditions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in procurement, business, or equivalent experience.
6–8 years in indirect procurement or commercial analytics.
Experience in cross-cultural and international environments.
Ability to influence across levels and drive collaboration.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate internal and external data sources to create insights for category strategy.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supplier risk.
Collaborate with category managers to implement analytics-driven initiatives.
Provide regular market condition reports and impact on procurement activities.
Establish yourself as the category analytics SME and mentor others.
