Job summary

Regency Specialist Hospital is seeking an Executive in Procurement to drive compliant, ethical, and efficient purchasing practices in Malaysia. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams, sources materials both locally and overseas, and ensures timely processing of all requisitions and purchase orders.

You will review vendor quotations, maintain purchasing data in HIS/FIS, and strive to achieve KPI targets while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Purchasing, Business Admin or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Purchasing and procurement processes.
• Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office apps.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and co-ordinate purchasing processing and transactions in a timely and efficient manner to achieve team objectives and KPIs
• Work closely with cross functional teams for cost control and recommend purchasing process improvements
• Maintain proper information in the HIS/FIS purchasing module and review PO status
• Source, negotiate and purchase materials from local and overseas vendors
• Identify new sources of supply and develop specific recommendations; obtain minimum 3 quotations for new item requirements
• Evaluate vendor quotations to ensure alignment with technical and commercial specifications required for the project
• Assess customer requirements, determine appropriate vendors, and analyse financial and purchasing data from quotes
• Ensure Purchase Requisition, Service Requisition, Service Contract, CAPEX and Purchase Order are processed, reviewed and reported within set time scales
