Betamek Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd in Rawang, Selangor invites applications for the role of Purchaser Executive to strengthen our procurement team and ensure seamless operations across manufacturing and logistics.

The successful candidate will manage supplier relationships, drive cost efficiencies, and oversee inventory while collaborating with internal departments to meet production schedules. This full-time role offers growth within a dynamic electronics environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related field.
• 2–4 years of procurement, purchasing or supply chain experience in manufacturing or logistics.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management and inventory control.
• Proficiency with procurement software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Source and select suppliers while ensuring quality standards, pricing, and delivery timelines.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders with accurate specifications, quantities and costs.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and service levels with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain vendor databases with up-to-date information.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and specifications.
• Track shipments and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of materials.
• Resolve supply chain issues including delays, discrepancies and quality concerns.
• Maintain procurement records and prepare regular reports on purchasing activity.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Support inventory management by forecasting demand and coordinating stock levels.
