Kampong Kravers (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a procurement professional to manage the end-to-end purchase of raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and other operational needs. This role ensures materials are available to support production plans.

You will source, negotiate with suppliers, issue POs, monitor delivery and inventory, and coordinate with Production, QA, Store, and Finance to optimize cost, quality, and on-time fulfillment.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end procurement for raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and other needs.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for price, quality, and delivery terms.
• Issue and monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with Production, QA, Store, Finance and others to meet production needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Maintain supplier records, pricing, product specifications and purchasing information.
• Evaluate supplier performance on price, quality, delivery and service.
• Follow up on delays and coordinate with suppliers and departments.
• Conduct market and supplier research for cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with policies and food safety requirements.
• Prepare procurement reports and updates on purchasing status and supplier performance.
• Support other procurement-related activities and projects as assigned by Management.

Description du poste

Manage the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, and other operational requirements.

Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, quality and delivery terms.

Issue and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Work closely with Production, QA, Store, Finance and other departments to ensure materials are available according to production requirements.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid stock shortages or overstocking.

Maintain and update supplier records, pricing, product specifications and purchasing information.

Evaluate supplier performance in terms of price, quality, delivery and service.

Follow up on delayed, incorrect or non-conforming deliveries and coordinate resolution with suppliers and relevant departments.

Conduct market and supplier research to identify alternative sources and cost-saving opportunities.

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approval procedures and food safety requirements.

Prepare procurement reports and provide updates on purchasing status, cost and supplier performance.

Support other procurement-related activities and projects as assigned by Management.
