Job summary

Xianfeng International (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Procurement Executive to join our Pasir Gudang team. This full-time role focuses on sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services essential to our manufacturing and logistics operations.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Bachelor's in supply chain management or related fields and 2–4 years of procurement experience in manufacturing or logistics.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or related role in manufacturing or logistics.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills; ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to meet procurement needs.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and terms to achieve cost savings while ensuring quality.
• Process purchase orders and maintain procurement documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor supplier performance and build long-term relationships.
• Liaise with internal departments to update order status.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain inventory records and supplier databases.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations in procurement activities.
• Prepare procurement reports and analyze spending patterns.
• Support logistics to ensure efficient receipt and storage of materials.

Xianfeng International (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Procurement Executive to join our dynamic team in Pasir Gudang, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing and logistics operations. As a Procurement Executive, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services. This role is essential to maintaining our operational efficiency and supporting the company's strategic objectives in the competitive manufacturing sector.

Key responsibilities

Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers and vendors to meet the company's procurement needs

Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal cost savings whilst maintaining quality standards

Processing purchase orders and managing procurement documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance

Monitoring supplier performance and maintaining positive working relationships to support long-term partnerships

Liaising with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and provide timely updates on order status

Conducting market research to identify new suppliers and opportunities for cost reduction

Maintaining and updating inventory records and supplier databases

Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant regulations in all procurement activities

Preparing procurement reports and analysing spending patterns to identify areas for improvement

Supporting the logistics team to ensure efficient receipt and storage of materials

What we're looking for

Diploma or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field

2-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related role within the manufacturing or logistics sector

Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships

Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications

Sound knowledge of supply chain management principles and procurement best practices

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Attention to detail and accuracy in processing procurement documentation

Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying cost‑saving opportunities

Knowledge of inventory management and logistics processes

Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Chinese and English is advantageous
