Job summary

Solana Tec Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Procurement Executive to source, purchase, and manage materials for our solar and sustainable energy projects in Malaysia, ensuring cost effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include demand planning, PO creation, supplier bidding, price comparisons, shipping coordination, and stock maintenance. A Diploma or Bachelor’s in Logistics with at least two years’ experience is required; English and Mandarin are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Logistics required.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin preferred for Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in related field.
• Able to work under pressure, organized and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Inventory planning and demand forecasting to ensure stock for installations.
• PO creation, supplier bidding, price comparisons, and order management.
• Coordinate shipping with forwarders; prepare LOIs, DN, and shipping invoices.
• Coordinate stock arrangement with warehouse and maintain stock records.

We are looking for Procurement Executive responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing materials, products, and services required by the company while ensuring cost effectiveness, quality standards, and timely delivery.

1. Inventory & Demand Planning

Prepare material forecasts and ensure sufficient stock to support installations.

2. Purchasing & Order Management

Obtain quotations from suppliers and perform price comparisons.

Manage the purchasing process, including PO creation and invoice submission for payment.

Handle product warranty claim processes.

Maintain SQL records, including PO, GRN, stock-in, and stock-out transactions.

3. Coordinate Shipping

Liaise with forwarders for customs clearance, including preparing LOI and submitting DN and shipping invoices for payment processing.

Track and follow up on shipments, and coordinate with suppliers on incoming stock arrangements.

4. Coordinate Stock Arrangement

Coordinate with the warehouse on incoming stock arrangements.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistic field or equivalent.
• Candidates fluent in English and Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with English and Mandarin speaking clients.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in related field.
• Able to work under pressure, organized and able to handle multiple tasks.
