Job summary

Maruwa (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a procurement/maintenance-oriented professional to manage spare parts and consumables for AOI and critical machines in Melaka. The role focuses on maintaining accurate spare parts inventory and driving cost-saving initiatives across procurement and material planning processes.

You will ensure quality compliance of incoming equipment and components, conduct supplier audits, and negotiate contracts to secure reliable long-term spare parts support.

Qualifications

• Min. Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related field.
• Min 2-5 years of related experience, preferably from manufacturing industry.
• Strong ability to negotiate
• Able to work in fast pace environment and tight dateline.
• A good interpersonal skill and team player.
• Ability to perform analysis and evaluation.
• Able to handle presentation to higher authorities and management as at when required.
• Independently conduct the task with minimum or zero supervision

Responsibilities

• Handle all department spare part & consumable item (AOI & critical machine item).
• Maintain inventory of spare part item.
• Cost Optimization: Driving cost-saving initiatives and alternative material
• Quality Assurance: Ensuring that all incoming equipment and components meet rigorous quality standards and technical benchmarks.
• Supplier Management: Conducting supplier audits, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships to ensure long-term support and spare parts availability.
