Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical Engineering graduate to manage spare parts and consumables for AOI and critical machines. You will drive cost-saving initiatives and ensure timely availability of parts.

You will maintain inventory, conduct supplier audits, negotiate contracts, and uphold strict quality standards. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in manufacturing, strong negotiation, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of related manufacturing experience.
• Strong negotiation abilities.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Ability to analyze and evaluate.
• Able to present to higher authorities when required.
• Independent with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Handle all department spare part & consumable item (AOI & critical machine item).
• Maintain inventory of spare part item.
• Cost Optimization: Driving cost-saving initiatives and alternative material.
• Quality Assurance: Ensuring that all incoming equipment and components meet rigorous quality standards and technical benchmarks.
• Supplier Management: Conducting supplier audits, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships to ensure long-term support and spare parts availability.
