Job summary

PARTNER RETAIL Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Purchasing Assistant to support daily purchasing and procurement activities. You will source suppliers, prepare market surveys, and manage purchase orders to ensure timely procurement and accurate records.

The role requires a diploma or SPM, good communication in Chinese and English, basic computer skills, and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma in any discipline.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate in Chinese and English.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Must have own transport.
• Proactive, responsible and willing to learn.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Google disk, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily purchasing and procurement activities.
• Source and evaluate suppliers and obtain quotations.
• Prepare market surveys/competitors price check.
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain purchasing records.
• Follow up with suppliers on orders, deliveries and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely procurement.
• Ensure accuracy of purchasing data and filing.
• Perform other purchasing and administrative duties as assigned.
