Job summary

Supreme Asia Engineering Sdn Bhd seeks a proactive Procurement & Logistics Executive to drive purchasing activities, optimize vendor relationships, and streamline logistics coordination across our projects in Malaysia.

You will handle PR to PO processes, source suppliers, monitor deliveries, track shipments, and maintain procurement records, leveraging 1–2 years of experience in procurement or logistics and a diploma or degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of procurement, purchasing, or logistics coordination experience (construction/MEP is a plus).
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong negotiation skills and good communication with diverse vendors.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily purchasing activities from PR to PO.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for pricing, terms and quality.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage vendor relationships for lead times and quality.
• Reconcile purchasing documents with delivery orders and invoices.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive Procurement & Logistics Executive to drive our purchasing activities, optimize vendor relationships, and streamline our logistics coordination. If you have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for end-to-end supply chain management, this is your next career move.

Procurement & Sourcing

• Handle daily purchasing activities, from processing purchase requisitions (PR) to issuing purchase orders (PO).
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable credit terms, and quality assurance.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage vendor relationships to ensure consistent lead times and quality.
• Reconcile purchasing documents with delivery orders (DO) and invoices for the finance team.

Logistics & Inventory Management

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate closely with the site/warehouse teams to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Track shipments and proactively resolve any logistics delays or transit issues.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date procurement and logistics records in the system.

Requirements

• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or logistics coordination. Experience in Construction / MEP industry is a strong advantage.
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong negotiation skills, sharp attention to detail, and proficiency in ERP software or Microsoft Excel.
• Languages: Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with diverse vendors.
