Job summary

Trisen Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Purchasing professional to source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers for pricing, quality and delivery in a Malaysia-based role.

You will prepare Purchase Orders, coordinate with Planning and Production, monitor supplier performance and maintain accurate records to support cost-saving initiatives.

Fresh graduates are welcome; knowledge of Mandarin is a plus; experience with MRP/ERP systems is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Purchasing or related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome; candidates with purchasing experience have an added advantage.
• Good negotiation, communication and follow-up skills.
• Responsible, organised and detail-oriented.
• Experience with MR*P/ERP systems is an advantage.
• Able to communicate in English and Mandarin with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers on pricing, quality and delivery.
• Prepare Purchase Orders and follow up on material deliveries.
• Coordinate with Planning, Production and other departments on purchasing requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and follow up on outstanding orders.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
• Support supplier sourcing, quotation comparison and cost-saving activities.
• Handle office supplies, vendor/service coordination and general administrative matters.
• Maintain proper administrative records, filing and documentation.
• Prepare purchasing reports when required.
• Perform other related duties assigned by Management.
