Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable procurement professional to source products, compare quotations, issue and monitor Purchase Orders, and maintain strong supplier relationships to support purchasing decisions.

Fresh graduates are welcome; candidates with experience in procurement, inventory control, logistics, or operations and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems are encouraged to apply. Excellent communication in Mandarin and English is an asset.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with relevant experience are welcome.
• Experience in procurement, inventory control, logistics, or operations is an advantage.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel and ERP/Inventory Management Systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Mandarin and English to communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Source products and obtain competitive quotations from suppliers.
• Compare pricing, quality, and lead times to support purchasing decisions.
• Prepare, issue, and monitor Purchase Orders (POs).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while identifying new sourcing opportunities.
• Resolve purchasing issues, including shortages, damaged goods, pricing discrepancies, and invoice-related matters.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth inbound deliveries.
• Track purchase orders and shipment schedules, ensuring timely delivery.
• Verify delivery documents against purchase orders and supplier invoices.
• Liaise with internal departments to support daily operational requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Ensure inventory records are updated accurately after goods are received.
• Support stock counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Work closely with the warehouse to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Maintain accurate procurement and operational records.
• Prepare purchasing, inventory, and operational reports.
• Ensure all operational activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
