Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Finance Operations professional in Malaysia to join our Accounts Payable team. You will collect operational reports, analyze data, reconcile transactions, and ensure timely payments in line with controls and client requirements.

Key responsibilities include processing manual payments, reviewing duplicate reports, investigating exceptions, verifying direct debit docs, and maintaining audit-ready records. Thai and English language proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Thai and English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day Accounts Payable activities in line with procedures, client requirements, and internal controls.
• Process manual payments, review duplicate payment reports, investigate exceptions, and perform required payment controls.
• Verify direct debit documentation and prepare the related accounting entries.
• Analyze vendor statements to identify discrepancies and follow up on outstanding items.
• Manage payment posting, investigate posting errors, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Liaise with stakeholders to address payment-related queries and resolve processing issues.
• Process cheque payments as per procedures and authorization requirements.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and audit-trail documentation.
• Monitor processing performance to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and SLA adherence.
• Support other AP tasks and ad hoc activities as needed.

About the Role

You will be part of our Finance Operations team, helping determine financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, analyzing data, and reconciling transactions. The Accounts Payable (AP) team manages vendor payment processing and related AP activities, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time in line with established procedures, client requirements, and internal controls.

What We Are Looking For

• Primary skill: Accounts Payable Process (P2)
• Secondary skill: SAP Procure to Pay (P1)
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively

Roles and Responsibilities
